Comments, Life Story, Etc:

Attended college at San Jose State University for 3/4 yr, then transferred to University of Wisconsin-Madison. Met my wife at UW and recently celebrated 31 years of marriage. I have two adult children, an oxymoron indeed since we are always parents to our offspring no matter how old they get, or we get. I originally raised my kids in Rogers Park, then moved to Evanston where they attended Middle school and then Evanston Township HS. I am happy that my children got to experience a balanced and diverse environment. I have been a practicing Therapist for 25 years and I remember every story I have been told, but forget where I put my eye glasses or keys on a daily basis. I am a social justice advocate both in my professional and personal lives. I owe my filter and lens to New Trier where I learned about entitlement and it's accompanying blindness as well as caring and it's acute focus. I enjoyed HS, a happy-go-lucky experience indeed. NT was a fantasy land of opulence and privilege in which I was immersed. The freedom to engage the environment was an experience that I will always treasure. I am still in touch with quite a few of my classmates and have the honor of continuing lifelong friendships. We grew up in a special time and a special place, I appreciate it and the privilege that it extolled onto my life.

Advisory? Advisory Memories/Story?

Ron Wedekind or Weeds. The guy have the waviest hair of anyone that I knew or have known. I remember Dirk Fucik bringing a ferret into advisory in his army coat. I also remember all of the folks who were stoned first think in the am during advisory (names withheld to protect the innocent as statute of limitations has expired, but judgment may not have.) I remember John Remke (RIP, big bro) left Central school in 8th grade 140 lbs and came back to NT as a Soph about 250. He sat in front of me in advisory and wore a baseball hat w/o a logo and a big green coat with a fur collar and I don't remember him saying a word. I remember Larry Banks, who was a professional drummer and I bet most of you don't remember him.

School Stories, Teachers Who Inspired You:

Bob Pink. The only teacher I remember as pitiful as that might be. I remember Morris Barefield because he was a personal friend when I became an adult, but I cant really remember who taught anything else.
