Living in Paradise x two. In Key West, FL (full-time during late fall/winter) and Asheville,NC (summer/spring). New partner, new summer home, life is good!
Just purchased a new home in Ormond Beach, FL.
Dad was transferred to Chicago my Senior Year. Not an easy move (from Indianapolis), where I had many friends and had been admitted to top show choir (Counterpoints) at my old high school. However, the move to Winnetka (right off Sheridan Rd.) brought new friends, many memories, and lots of new adventures that I'd have otherwise not had. Still in touch with many of my friends from NTE.
Life has been mostly good. I have more blessings I can count than troubles and sad events. "Life is short. Most poor sons of bitches are starving. Live! It's today!" - from "Auntie Mame"
Doc Peterman for sure! Toby Nichols, as well!

Another sad loss for all of us in the Class of 1975. I wasn't going to post since I only knew Charlie (as I knew him, not as Chuck) from having been in Boys Ensemble together, He was one of the jocks who could also sing. I made really good friends in Boys Ensemble, more in Cho-Opera, but the memories are strong and positive from having had 'the best' choral director EVER! I know Doc Peterman would I'm sure have remembered him as well. He kind of always had a sunny, smiling disposition. That's how I'm choosing to remember (and honor) his memory. One amazing fellow Boys Ensemble member...and apparently also citizen, son, father, and friend!

I remember you in Boys Ensemble. I was jealous of all tenors, being a solidly boring baritone. I'm impressed that you've lived a full life and had great adventures. Here's to the subsiding of COVID and an increased ability to travel and enjoy hopefully many years to come! Take good care!! I'm in touch with many NTE classmates on FB. It's been a real boon to reconnecting with old friends and colleagues. All the Best! Jimmy Olson
